Today’s post is a breakfast win. It has everything you wish you could eat for breakfast, made healthier (slightly) so that you can enjoy your nutella at 7 am without feeling guilty. Who doesn’t want that?
And what’s even better is that this meal takes all of 5 minutes to throw together which means that you can still hit the snooze button a few times while having the breakfast of your dreams. I told you this was a win!
Simply mix together Nutella and almond butter, spread on a bagel, top with sliced banana, nuts (and honey, if your heart so desires-I know some people think that’s gross) and you’re done!
Simple, right? And this would be such a great post workout snack, too!
I mean, just look at that chocolatey deliciousness! You need this in your life. And it can be customized to fit your dietary needs! Gluten free? Switch in a gluten-free bagel. Vegan? Go sans honey. The possibilities are endless here and it really does satisfy my sweet tooth without killing my sugar intake.Now go and have an awesome Wednesday!
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1.5 tbs. nutella
- ¼ cup almond butter
- Honey (optional)
- 2 plain bagels, halved
- 1 tbs. raw peanuts (optional)
- In a small bowl, add the almond butter and nutella and use a spoon to combine.
- Using a knife, spread the mixture onto both sides of the bagel
- Then, add some banana slices, a drizzle of honey and sprinkle on some peanuts!
