This Tropical Super Food Smoothie Bowl is a healthy treat that tastes like dessert yet is packed with super nutritious ingredients.

This recipe is not only healthy, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten free but it taste absolutely delicious and is ready in 5 minutes!

This recipe honestly came to me (as most recipes do, come to think of it) while wandering around my local market checking out the gorgeous produce. They happened to have these beautiful little satsuma oranges and I just knew that I had to use them in something.

I am obsessed with smoothie bowls. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good smoothie in a tall glass as much as the next person but there is something about putting it into a bowl and smothering it with delicious goodies that makes the idea of a smoothie bowl just too good to resist.

I mean, look at that! The crunchy granola, sweet blueberries, chia seeds and goji berries for some added superfood and to top it all off a sprinkling of unsweetened coconut! It really doesn’t get more tropical than this (at least, in Utah it doesn’t).

The smoothie has fresh orange juice, banana, mango, almond milk, and a spoonful of coconut cream (in case you want it a bit creamier) which can be switched out for any of your favorite fruits and then top with whatever goodies you have on hand! I would recommend not skimping on the blueberries, however, as they really add a nice sweetness.

And the best part is that this smoothie bowl is truly customizable. Swap out the fruit, add cacao nibs or nuts, replace the chia seeds with flax seeds. It’s entirely up to you!

I promise this is a healthy smoothie even your pickiest eater will love!
